I am curious about something. If and when the Bionic comes out and I purchased one, could I still use the DX as a "WiFi only" device after I have my phone number go to a new phone? Just curious, it would be almost no different than a WiFi only tablet, right?

correct. From time to time i still hop on my OG Droid through wifi just to play around with some of the apps on there. You can still browse internet, market, email, and with wifi enabled apps make calls.

Yeah, it's like an Android version of an iTouch. Wi-Fi will work fine so it's good to leave on the coffee table for quick internet searches, or some games etc.
