QR Codes

I am starting to understand them but how do you read them on a Droid? if it has been sent to you from the main screen?. Or do you have to have a hard copy or another monitor to read from. I am sure this is a real stupid question. But that is the only real kind.

I wondered that myself but never found myself in need - thanks for the tip spaz

Ok thanks for that but my main question is how do you read them when you receive them on your phone? . Do you need another phone to read the first screen.

The app I suggested will do that. Save the image to your gallery and use the app to scan it.

Still getting my head around this. When it is in your gallery how do you scan it?.

That's the thing

The app pulls it from your gallery so you don't have to scan it in the traditional sense.

I cannot find the program you mentioned. Can you scan it and send it.?

I'm surprised android doesn't read QRs natively.

Doesn't google goggles read QR?

Google Goggles might but I cannot get into my folder To read a code sent to me.

Ok did you get a qr code texted to you? If so all you should have to do is long press it to save the image in your gallery and then use bizbarcode to scan it.

Barcode Scanner also reads them. I believe that ShopSavvy may even read them.

As far as using one sent to you... never had a need to do that.
