My phone has been draining extremely fast every time the phone stays on, but the moment the screen turns off, the battery drains

Not sure what phone that really is. There are none that I'm aware of named core 2 duo. Could you send a screen shot of the "About phone" page from within settings?

I'd never heard of it either but a quick Google search brought up Compare Mobiles - Samsung Galaxy Core 2 vs Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 Specs Battery more
Welcome to the forum thepancake.
Not really sure why that would be happening. Your best bet would be to either download a battery monitoring app like Gsam to help determine what's draining your battery, or try a factory data reset.
How long have you had the phone? Did this just recently start happening, or has it always done this?

I've had this phone for a few months and it has always drained this fast. I already did a factory reset a few weeks ago but the battery life is still awful.

You have almost no noticeable wakelocks while the phone is sleeping. Have you tried another battery?

Which firmware are you on?

I would suggest another battery as well... Did you get the phone new or used?

From looking at the OP pictures, that appears to be the standard amount of time to get on battery from a samsung device. Your getting 3 hours plus of screen time...and 10 hours plus overall. The indicators show the screen and awake times are consistently being used here. If you really believe there is a battery issue. Charge the battery to 100% and reinitialize using samsung Kies software
