I should say I am new to android.

This is my wife's phone and she just "uses" it - no hacking, no fancy stuff.
Yesterday she said her phone died and she is not able to use it.

I got some time today, so I am looking at fixing it. When I hard-boot it (volume-up + power), it will go into boot mode, and when I click "recovery", it starts of, and quickly the droid icon comes up with dead droid - stomach open - red exclamation. Leave it for few minutes, and "google" logo comes and the phone stays that way FOREVER!

Can someone help me if there is a way to access the phone and debug/fix it.

I think her phone has icecream sandwich on it...

Thanks everyone!

You guys need to do a flash back to stock most likely. Guessing you'll need ODIN since they're Samsung devices.

Ok, so I guess il google how to do that. Not really familiar with Android yet, are there guides here on the forum for that?
