Nexus has better phone reception in my house than OG or Bionic or IPhone

I live in an 1950's house made out of plaster and other unknown things that repel all signals.

With my OG Droid and my Bionic I had to go outside to make calls.

My wife has an IPhone and has to go outside.

With the Galaxy Nexus I have no problems making calls from anywhere in the house. I just had a 1/2 hour call from an area that I've never been able to use the phone in.

It did take 10% of my battery for the call but I'm amazed. (it got hot also)

Could be the 4g. I think the 4g has better penetration, due to the airwaves or whatever it travels over.

That being said,I get 4g now in my house, internet connection is great through my phone now. It wasn't possible with 3g.

I had 4g with the bionic and couldn't make calls.

I get better reception with the GNex in my house over my OG Droid, too. Significantly better, and it has nothing to do with 4g, since I can't get that in my poor reception household.

Very unusual but lets call it a "feature". Make phone calls from IN your home!
