New to the forum not the droid. This is my second droid. Droid 1 rooted. Loved it. Got texts about updating so I got a Droid X. Ill say that this is one bad mofo. Haven't rooted the X yet because the Verizon guy (who was really cool about rooting a droid) told me that both Verizon and google are killing peoples contracts now. Just wondering if anyone has heard of or know anything about this. I want to root again...

Rooting is easy to do and undo As long as you have rsdlite then you can restore it to stock settings. Yes they are voiding warranties because too many people have messed their phones up. But majority of the mistakes can be avoided if you take your time, read and have all the tools ready. We are here if you need any help.
