Motorola announces the Z2 Force Edition

Don't think I'll be getting that one. I have too many BT speakers already. LOL It did not come with a back. I find this very strange. Very first impression: it is impossibly light. How is it so light weight? Incredible.
Also came with a metal sim tool? First time I've seen that. Luxe! Also has a thing to attach the headphone adapter to your headphones so you don't lose it. Cool.

That's unfortunate that they stopped supplying the fake wood style shell in the box. Then again that may have only came with the Droid version, since I have heard the Moto Z Play (non Droid) didn't come with a style shell either. I highly recommend getting one to keep the back from getting scratched, and to keep the Mod pins clean and undamaged.

And that post just made me realize that this might be the first year since 2009 with no Droid branded phone. I wonder if the Droid line is finally dead?

A girl I work with has a Z and uses a case that works without the shell so she is giving me hers tomorrow.
LOVE all the new Moto Actions: Flip to DND, Pick up to silence ringer. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Waiting for my 128 apps to install...

Didn't the Turbo 2 also have Flip To DND? Maybe I'm confused, but thought it did. I do use that often when at work, quick way to silence the phone....flip it over face down.

T2 did not. New on Z, I believe. Loving it so far. Wow, it is BLAZING fast. Very pleased so far.

Really? Boot animation has sound now? LOL Sorta lame Moto.
Really digging it. Love some of the nice touches like being able to RESTART from the Power button. Finally.
I don't like how they went back to not being able to uninstall some of the bloat. Now you can only disable it which si OK, but why the backtrack? It doesn't get nearly as hot as the T2 did either. That's cool.

10 hours??? some days my phone does not even make 8. other days, my phone could last all day. I guess it depends what was left running in the background or forgotten open app.

Seems about on par with the Z Force and Z Play. Maybe the smaller battery with the newer chip will give about the same results as the original Z Force? Let the nay-sayers be damned.
