I went from the D1....to Incredible....to X. Wont look back, but thats me, love the bigger screen and always hated the physical keyboard.

I like the keyboard and am apprehensive about the move. I did text myself with my friends X and didn't seem to have a problem.

I can tell you I've been using the virtual kb more and more. Especially now when my hands are so cold that I can't quite feel the physical keys.
