MetaMorph on Gingerbread

I've asked around the forums and even emailed the dev of metamorph, but i have yet to get an answer. Any answer. So I'll start a thread. Has anyone successfully used metamorph to theme? I would feel better tweaking my d2 if i knew that it wouldn't be likely to bootloop my phone. Thanks in advance!

I used it to change the battery icon on v.5 without an issue. Haven't gotten around to using it on v.7 yet.

I too would like to know more about how stable .7 is for theming and wether or not Metamorph is the main option for doing so? Are there any other tools? I'm curious on how to get started.

Yeah I looked there before, but all I see is 4 blur home docks, no icons or anything to theme the notification bar. I read somewhere else though that it does work

i used it to change my lock screen on liberty gb 0.7 from here http://droidpirate.com/tag/lock_screen/ worked great. the themes didn't seem to change anything though. but no bootloops.
