Major problems

My phone has been doing a lot of strange crap lately. Now it turns on straight to the fastboot sub menu. Whenever I restart it by going through recovery It comes up with a black screen that has a picture of a phone beside it. It won't do anything else. Please help me out here.

That is the stock recovery. Just need to press the Vol+ and power buttons at the same time periodically for about 2-3mins. Takes it awhile to come up.
