LCD near front camera?

Hi Guys...
Had my TB for 3 days now. This morning is the first time I noticed andamber LCD light right next to the front facing camera. (On the earpiece) I tired to do a search for it and couldn't find why the LCD is on. Can someone please tell me what that LCD is telling me?

EDIT...JUST LOOKED AGAIN AND NOT THERE....MAYBE I MADE A MISTAKE AND IT WAS THE ANGLE OF THE LIGHT FROM THE BEDROOM WINDOW.....

no, actually it does come on time to time. HTC occasionally turns it on to monitor what you're doing if you're in a known crime infested part of town. It's part of their on-going cooperation with the local police. I read they're discontinuing the process as they were threatened with a lawsuit by Dunkin Doughnuts. Seems the doughnut shops were losing too much money because the police were actually doing their job.
