Haha. I installed ss2.0 over 1.08. I feel ignant but everything worked fine. Reverted back to my daily driver with ease. Haven't tried a 1.08 backup with 2.0 tho.

So wait small tangent, I have safe system on all the time. And occasionally edit my system apps like mobile defense or adw.ex without turning off safe system. I even uninstall the stock launcher or authenticators. Isn't this supposed to be forbiddon?

No safe system is where you can muck things up, hence its safe. On the nonsafe side that's where you want your good stock rooted setup.

Just got a 512mb ducati binary from Texas Instruments. I'll be working on the new kernel tonight for Kindle Fire and the Droids. -- Hashcode (@Hashcode0f)

Kinda....it allows a new kernel but its built into the ROM. So cant flash a separate kernel...as far as i know

Essentially, it is built off the existing kernel. You cannot "flash" new kernels with this. It is its own kernel (kexec).

im on it right now.. boy is it beautiful.. 3g works nicely. gps locks in seconds. bluetooth activates but didnt test connecting. no problems with gapps this time... arrows keys not properly mapped on keyboard. not a daily driver but im loving this. also on boot the screen flashed in an uncomfortable eerie way i thought i was bricked but dont be alarmed. maybe its the kernal loading in its unconventional way.

god speed to the devs

Yep, new build has better D3 phone/data files.

- it's still cm9
- main audio is still inop but other audio will work (speaker phone, bt, etc)
- keyboard issues

etc.

next build will probably be cm10.

Yeah I noticed on the first build the alt key didn't work on the physical keyboard. Keep up the good work Hash!!!
