Keeping apps from opening up all the time...how???

I use advanced task killer to kill all apps, then I open it up 2 minutes later and everything is running again (if I don't even touch the phone). What causes all these apps to just open and do whatever the hell they want? When I close them, that means I don't want them open. Anyway to fix this?

Some apps are meant to always be ruingn and will restart themselves even if you kill them (as you have seen). Here is more info than you'll ever want to know about it:
