Oh I thought you needed gps on to use locations with smart actions

Locations with smart actions uses WiFi, which totally puzzles me.

Why turn data off on WiFi? I get 24 hours on WiFi, but during the week on 4G I only get about 9 hours.

Are you sure about that?

Why keep data on when you have wifi on? Its overkill and a waste of battery...

I do not remember that
do a little experiment.. try to set up another locations trigger and see what happens, and post the screenshot of what you get... if you don't mind. Im also still perplexed by how your screen on time was just a straight line instead of blips...

I tried a work one and it did have the location consent pop up. As far as the screen time thing, I don't know why its a staight line. I checked some other ones and some have only one small opening. see picView attachment 53348

That blue line is actually not just the screen time but when your phone is active. For instance, I forgot to turn my wifi off last night so my phone was active 100% but my screen time was not.

Ok trying to figure out a part of Juice defender and can't get there so I figured I would ask for help. In the bluetooth section. I have it enabled and bluetooth is on. Under the force reconnect section I can't click on configure devices. Why not? My Motorola headset is a paired device. I am running ICS on the razr. Screen shot attached for reference.

This is a problem that's come up with ICS. I've talked with them about it and they are working on a fix. If you contact them they will give you a link to a beta version you can try, but it did not help me with my Razr.

Thanks for the quick reply SallyC. Good to know it was not something I was doing wrong. Maybe they will fix it soon.

Hi SallyC and other JD users! I am trying to figure this out.. if it is a JD problem, an ICS problem or and ICS+ JD problem.

First notice Topjimmy's wifi signal on the post above. On the .215 ICS Leak thread, JTC303 posted this question (he is using JD)...

my wifi at home is really weak now... it used to be full strength before .215... anyone experiencing this and/or have any ideas?

Here is a pic of mine on the same thread showing the same problem...

This is my pic after disabling JD, turning wifi off, and turning it back on again....

Is anyone else experiencing a low wifi signal on JD? I noted that while on JD, sometimes my wifi signal would be very strong as it used to be be. While using JD, seems my wifi would improve after being on a phone call which may be because, JD on balanced setting turns wifi off during a call and then back on after. But I switched to Smart Actions and I am beginning to notice the same exact thing. Wifi signal was low, received a call and after, wifi signal was strong. What are others experiencing with their wifi and JD?

I have noticed sometimes my wifi signal will show low with jd on but the performance is still good. Other times like now the wifi will show like it supposed to.
