insurance on the ally?

so before the ally i had the lg voyager, i had the 5.99 insurance on it, when i got the ally the ins. transferred over and still remains on my contract-my question is this-is it really worth having? i had issues with my phone when the update came around the other day long story short they said the ins. doesn't cover that. I don't use my phone for a whole bunch of things primarily the norm-calls, texts, but i do heavily use skype and email. I am wondering since the issues i've had (even back with the voyager) weren't covered by the ins. does it really benefit me to pay for it? or should i just get rid of it. TIA

Worth is always subjective. We can't tell you if it's worth it to you or not. Read up on what insurance covers. It can be beneficial as the warranty will not cover what insurance covers.
