Hi. I installed Pdanet+/ Foxfi and had to set up a lock screen password. I no longer need the app but I can't get rid of the lock screen. I went to Security/ Trusted credentials and removed Pdanet+, I uninstalled the app, I even booted into Safe Mode and tried to get rid of the screen lock- no luck.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks.

Go back into settings(phone) security and lock screen, tap at the top where it says pattern.. Then select... None, slide, your choice.. :)

If you've already tried that. Then I'd boot into recovery and clear the cache.

Lock Screen isn't under Security, it's a separate entry under Personal. When I tap that, then go to Screen Lock, I have to enter the PIN, then every field is greyed out except PIN and Password, so I can't select Pattern or None.

Thank you, that worked. Evidently the key was to clear all credentials, not just the ones for Pdanet/Foxfi.

I appreciate the prompt responses from everyone.

###I FIGURED IT OUT INSTEAD OF RESETTING YOUR PHONE DO NOT GO TO SETTINGS THEN SECURITY TO CHANGE IT YOU HAVE TO CLIick SETTINGS>DEVICE>LOCKSCREEN>SCREENLOCK>THEN SET WHAT TYPE OF SCREEN LOCK WITH UPDATE FOR SOME REASON OTHER WAY IS GREYED OUT

Nice. Just hope the OP from June sees this if they haven't already resolved it themselves.
