Hey all,
Got my Droid the first weekend and have loved it. just rooted to see what the hype is about. I like to think I am tech savy but havent worked with the Linux OS to much. I like what I have read so far and the posts have been a lot of help rooting my phone.

:welcome: to the Droid Forums. If you're going to root I highly recommend Droidmod 1.0, it's what I used up until recently. It's easy to install and if you want to remove the root that's easy to do as well.
