Yeah do try Maybe the build.prop wouldn't write if it was already present? This is why I always wipe

Didn't work, trying to get back to 2.0.1.

Try a 2.0.1 nandroid backup. Some are modded to run very fast. lol good to hear

Finally got it working after installing 2.0.1 and going to the 2.1 update again

to find matches or just <CR> to accept default:

error: unable to mount /sdcard, aborting

You sure that you placed the folder in the correct folders?

e.g.: sdcard\Nandroid\console=ttyS2,115200n8\rteu231-BbcS-20100318-1808

Oh no wait, it looks like it doesn't mount the sdcard... weird...

hmm I'm not sure how you get the mount sd card error. Did you follow the guide step by step and do you have the requirements?

For the data networks please check if the APN is correct. For the QWERTZ, I have no idea

All I did was this guide. Nothing more. Remember to set up the keyboard language to UK (US). Everything is fine for me.

I'll try the other 2.1 modded ROM. The current one has a blank 'APNs' settings screen.
