Got a new sim to use in my Nexus 6P. Everything I read said to activate it in the old phone first, then put it in the nexus.

The old phone has had a dialog that says "please wait until your phone has been activated" for about 5 minutes now, maybe a bit longer ?

Normal?
Not gonna work ?

It depends on the carrier... If you can make and receive calls, I would think the SIM is good to go..

First time I think I can say this but I just had the best "Tech Support" experience with VZW in my whole entire life.

She said that my NoteII was so old it couldn't activate the new sim.
But she was able to activate it on her end. Even called me back to be sure it worked.

YeeHaw the Nexus 6P is now burning up unlimited data!

Now to flash something.

Thanks @Jeffrey
