I am so glad to be rid of blur but I do miss the hotspot on / off toggle it had.
Anyone using one that works on GN? I have tried 2 that load but dont seem to do anything when pressed.
Free would be best.
Thx in advance

Seriously. I'm missing sense right about now. For more than just hotspot toggle.

there is also an app called elixir widgets that doesn't require root and bypasses verizon's hotspot authentication and lets you enable hotspot for free.

Are you sure that it isn't charging you in your monthly bill?

They cannot just sign you up for additional paid services without your knowledge or consent. So, yes. I'm sure. If you really have any doubts just pull up your account online and have a look.

The best I have found is using widgetsoid from the market (free and paid versions)...you can put a shortcut to the activity that takes you directly to the tethering & portable hotspot screen...it saves you a few finger strokes but I don't know if that is what you want...

Also, Widgetsoid will allow you to put toggles in your notification bar for other items and they work from the notification bar as well...
