Been using it for the past 1hr. I'm liking it so far. Running fine on my Turbo. I like it better than the turbo stock messaging app.
Nope. Messenger is strictly for sms & mms so far.I'm using Hangouts and see no reason to move away from it. In the U.S. I use it with phone numbers and when overseas I switch it to email addresses.
Can I do that with the Messenger?
The difference is I'm not sure you can select an email address.That is what I use Hangouts for. I'm not catching on to how Messenger is different.
In the U.S. I select the phone number of the SMS/MMS recipient. When overseas I select the drop down box and choose their email address and it goes through just like a usual SMS/MMS.
Maybe I'm mistaken, but that's how it's billed. I tend to agree with you though. At least inbox brought something new to the table...Well that is a step backwards.
