Try clearing dalvik cache and retrying.

I tried, but same error message. I update the ROM to 1.85, and when it was done syncing, Google Music was installed.

I have a Droid 1 and Xoom and got an email automatically yesterday without signing up. You get like a 20k song limit which is generous!
