Definitely try "Solid Explorer". It's supposed to be in beta but it's worked flawlessly for me since the first time I used it months ago. Has some really great features like split screen, it looks and works amazing, best part is it's totally free!

I like the layout and theme of Solid Explorer a lot. It's got a modern/ICS feel to it. All the other explorers are too tacky/flashy for my taste. Solid Explorer has a dark theme too, always a plus when working in darker rooms where screen brightness can bother your eyes too much

Does this ES explore really look like the pictures on the play store?

Yes, depending on which theme you apply... or you can use your own custom background. If you mean the icons, yeah, they are accurate.

That's what I was afraid of, icons like that seem a little dated to me. Solid Explorer fits my taste perfectly, plus it's been able to do anything I needed it to so far.
