Exchange Activesync Problems

    Hi all,
    I am a newb here on the forum and with the android OS. Came from Samsung Omnia with Windows Mobile 6.1. I love the new droid and the android OS, but having problems with exchange activesync. For some reason I can get my email and contacts (well, most of the time) but my calendar won't sync. Anyone else run into this issue. Keep getting error that there is a problem with synchronizing. Another this is even though I have my settings to check items as they arrive, it never checks for new email until I open up the native mail app. What gives? It seems like my mobile network connection is sporadic and only connects when I open an app that requires it. Doesn't sound right to me and not how my last phone worked, where the 3G connection was mostly constant. I hope there is a fix for this. I'd hate to have to return my new droid!
