DVD & Video on the Droid X

The last couple of days, I've been receiving a lot of questions for conversion settings for the Droid X.

While the Droid X is a different phone than the original Droid, the specifications for video playback are identical.

Droid:

• Resolution
  • 480 x 854 pixels

• Video Playback
  • MPEG4, H.263, H.264
• Music Player
  • MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, WAV, AMR, OGG, MIDI, Album art cover

Droid X:

• Resolution
  • 480 x 854 pixels

• Video Playback
  • MPEG4, H.263, H.264
• Music Player
  • MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, WAV, MIDI, Background playback, Album art cover

If you are using DVD Catalyst 3, just use one the Droid profiles, or if you are using DVD Catalyst Free, just use DVD Catalyst Free for Droid
