I use my Droid as an alarm clock everyday, and it has no stand, just lays there on the nightstand.

As a mortician, I am on call some nights, and therefore it would be nice to have a stand for my Droid. So that at 3:30am, in the early morning, when death steals another victim, I can glance over and see that it is the mortuary calling me.

A stand would really benefit me, since I do use my Droid both as an alarm clock and also as my work phone, it would really be nice to have an "official" dock/stand for it.

Currently, my DROID resides on the side of my desk, kind of cast away from the other powerful machines that I keep on my desktop. with this stand, I believe I can show off my Motorola Droid to its fullest potential. With the stands stylish design, it'll complete my desktop, and help solve that ugly clutter of wires and things I have running around my desk

I would really love a dock, cause that little pit bull puppy next to my name only sleeps with my droid playing music all night long. Right now the droid just sits loudly on the window sill bating the beast to sleep. Some day 6 weeks old is going to turn into a 6 month old puppy and at that moment in time no longer will that sexy droid be safe at all. in fact it will be at eye level with a monster of destruction ready to cost me a ton of money. If only I had a safe haven for mans true best friend, A shiny playful cuddly droid.

My wife has her iHome dock for her iPhone and I need a bigger better dock to put my Droid on to put that stupid phone of hers in its place!

PS: If this has the robotic arms built into it that you see on the Droid commercials I will do anything as we all know those robotic arms from the Verizon commercials are just itching to destroy an Apple product.

I'm currently using a cut up rolodex card holder and a piece of packing foam / I can post some pics when I get home (I kid you not) / It's real ghetto, and I'd love to get a real stand (I also have a teddy bear for extra ballast --- My wife kids me all the time since everything else on my desk is so neat! I really could use one of these to protect my baby...

I need this because if I don't win, I will need to buy one, and then my wife will kill me for having spent more on accessories than the phone costs and then she will go to prison and she has too much potential to waste it spending the rest of her life in prison. So to save her, you need to give me this stand.

Now my Droid could use a stand.
I need a place to rest it,
When it's not sitting in my hand.

Especially at night,
When it sits beside the bed.
If I want to see the screen,
I have to raise my head.

And that is now a problem,
Since we just got NFL Mobile.
I need to easily see the screen,
One of the reasons I am hopeful...

And one of the reasons I'm surprised,
When I logged in to see this prize.
I had been hoping and praying,
It's like the DroidForum Gods heard my cries.

So now I have a shot,
To win something I could use.
Because in a few months,
Its a stand or baby food.

And I don't want to have to choose,
And with a baby on the way,
I need to manage my money,
It makes it really hard to pay.
