Contract up for renewal

My Verizon contract is coming due 1/23, my plan is no longer available and do not want to change anything at this point. Do I need to do anything to keep this contract going and not lose anything we all ready have?
Will they make me upgrade to another plan even if we do not want to???
Your thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated.

If you are not upgrading phones, you can stay on whatever grandfathered plan you chose. My guess is you're on America's Choice. One drawback is you can't send/receive MMS pictures/videos in extended network. There's many others, but that's the first one that comes to mind.

If you're going to upgrade your phone, you're more than likely going to have to change to a current promotion however. The way around that is to pay full price for a new phone or purchase on eBay or Craigslist or whatever.

If you're not planning on upgrading, why put yourself in contract for 2 more years?
