I have z4 root, titanium backup, droid x bootstrapper, and liberty 1.5. I have read up and these seem to be good options for a first time rooter. Anything i should know before i take the plunge? Looking to have a succesful root and then i probobly wouldnt mess with it too much. Thanks for the help you guys have been great to a first time droid user and also probobly making me a droider for life!

As soon as you root load up boot strap, boot into recovery and make a nandroid back up of your stock system, then enjoy.

I just rooted my Droid X the other day, really easy. I was nervous about doing it too but wasnt much to it really. I did not do any ROM's just wanted more access to my file so im happy with where its at now.
