Fission is the way to go. I've tried just about all the ROMS available, but ALWAYS end up back on Fission. No fruity transition animations on by default.. just a clean, stable, fast experience. With the Fission ROM Manager, keeping up to date on new versions/themes/add-ons is stupidly easy.
Fission is like a loving, faithful wife. I'm the low class, cheating manwhore... always cheating on the wife, but at the end of the day, I'm always right back in bed with the wife.
Now I just hope my phone never figures out how to use a knife or scissors.. then I'd be in trouble.
