Yahoo mail on notifications?

Is there any way to get a mail provider other than Google to use the notification feature? I tried going thru account settings -- add acount but it won't work for me.

when you add the yahoo email account just go into the settings and add a notification. Everytime i get an email from yahoo it vibrates and has a notification.

Thanks New. I went to the Verizon store to get help but it wasn't a quick and easy process. Opened the e-mail app added accounts and kept drilling down thru several menu pages ..but the tough part I would have never known was to add "impa.mail.yahoo.com" to the IMAP thingy and "smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com (or something like that) in the SMPTP. Is there an easier way?..... because I'd like to add a couple of other accounts but I don't think I could duplicate what the Verizon guy did.

Sounds like you found a much easier way. I couldn't find "add a notification" in my settings. Where is it? Thanks.
