Wifi tether with Mac?

I am going on vacation soon and I may purchase a Macbook prior. This will be my first Mac. PC only since the early 90s.

Anyway, My rooted droid tethers perfectly on my PC using the Wifi Tether app. Will this app play nice with Macs as well? This will help my decide whether to purchase a Macbook prior to my vacation or bring my old laptop instead.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

No problems with any of my Macs or iPad. Enjoy the new computer!

yup got a macbook pro too and wifi tether works great here

I would say it should be ok...wifi is a standard and I haven't seen any posts of those having problems. Enjoy!

You shouldnt have any problems tethering with a Mac. I've got a MacBook and it works great.
