WidgetLocker +*~+*~+*~+*~+*-- WOW!!!

It looks like you have a different font than me, which caused the layout problems. I shouldn't've made it so sensitive to that. I'll see if I can make it laid out correctly good regardless of font.
The shadow issue I identified. I had copied the shadow from the standard Android lockscreen clock, however Sense uses a much stronger shadow that looks better on the slider:

Kevin, I am unrooted and running stock fonts, and I get the same problem with numbers being cut off when it gets to a 4 digit time. Just seems like the time gets a bit off center and ends up cutting off a little bit of the last number. Not a big issue, but just something I noticed.

When i disable the Long-Search and then Re-enable it, it wont give me the options to change it... Anyone have an idea of how I can change this??
System Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Handcent > Clear Defaults (Don't click clear data!). This will clear any default actions from Handcent, such as long-press search. Next time you long-press search you'll be prompted to pick an application.
In Android 2.1 it's possible for an App to do this for you, so you might find something on the market to make it easier if you switch often, but as of Android 2.2 it's not possible, apps can only take you to the final screen and ask you to press the button (This is what WidgetLocker does for the home button on 2.2).

Thanks, I'll look into this.

Thanks!!

I do also have a feature that I would like to see :) While this is the best app I have, the best feature I have seen in an app (launcher) is ADW's gesture feature. You can set two gestures (swipe up and swipe down) to act as shortcuts, for example open Handcent or K-9. I would LOOOOVE to see this integrated into Widget Locker, maybe even with 4 gestures (+ left and right) since there arent multiple screen for these actions to take you to.

Thanks again fo rthis App and all of your support!!

Thought I'd chime in here with a possible bug to see if anyone else has the same issue.

It seems the screen time-out setting within Widget Locker sometimes overrides my Locale settings. I use locale to check if I'm docked, and if so, turn off the screen time-out so my screen stays on. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I've confirmed that Locale is activating my settings, and it's worked flawlessly up until this latest update of Widget Locker.

@rmart88: Gestures is a great idea. I need to setup some site to keep track of all these feature requests and let you guys vote on them.

Interesting.
There's two possible problems here.
1) One is that if WidgetLocker activates as a lockscreen, then locale changes the setting, then WidgetLocker exits, the setting will be what the system had prior to WidgetLocker activating.
2) However I think the bigger problem is if WidgetLocker is activated as a non-lockscreen, when it exists it'll still restore the system's setting from the last time it activated as a lockscreen.

I'll definitely fix (2). Do you think (1) is happening too? Would you prefer WidgetLocker just didn't touch the screen timeout? (I can add an option for that).

I think my situation falls into (1). When I dock the phone, the screen wakes up and WidgetLocker activates. Locale makes its change and then when WidgetLocker exits, it resets the setting. Thanks for explaining.

I just tested this, and when I dock the phone with the screen off, it then times out after I unlock it. If I dock the phone already unlocked and awake, it stays on per Locale's settings. This may just require a habit change on my part. An option to have the screen time-out ignored may not be a bad idea though.

I have a my gmail email counter,Handcent, Pandora, and Beautiful Bluetooth on my lock screen, and when i click on one of them and then hit Home my icons always have to get redrawn. This isn't normal is it? If it matters I am using LauncherPro Beta as well.

Also is there a way to turn off screen timeout feature? I usually have my phone hooked to my computer while at work so i can listen to Pandora, and it gets hard to read the screen at times when it times out. 2 minutes just isn't long enough for me.

Launcher pro should not need to restart/refresh. Can you check Launcher Pros prefereneces advanced memory settings? Had you changed any of those?
An option disable the timeout will be added.

I'm going to need some beta testers for 1.2. Anyone interested?
I'll mainly be interested in catching bugs, so if you don't mind experiencing bugs and spending a bit of time trying to figure out how to reliably reproduce it that would be best. Either send me a PM or an email (kevin teslacoilsw.com).

Well I just installed the latest Launcher Pro update, and it doesn't seem to be doing it now. So it looks like it might have been a LP issue and not WL.

An option disable the timeout will be added.
Thankie sir!

Kevin,

Just noticed another bug, right after the phone sleeps, for a second or 2, even if you have the 'Easy Wake Mode' disabled, any of the hardware buttons wakes the phone. Normally, not a big idea, but for someone who tends to put the phone to sleep and then immediately put it in my pocket, it has woken itself and accidentally activated on a few occasions.

Yep, Same issue

Well I thought the LP updated fixed the refresh issues I am having, but I guess not. I am still getting it. I have nothing in the advanced settings on. I will try removing WL later to see if it still happens. Then I should know which is causing the prob

The latest updates of LP don't have any memory setting as default; try a few and see if it makes a difference.
