WidgetLocker +*~+*~+*~+*~+*-- WOW!!!

EDIT - I figured it out, thank so much.

Now ... onto figuring out what these Interactions are all about. No clue! haha :)

Did you figure out both the Launcher Pro home button and the hide notification bar?

As for the security pattern, do you have Easy Wake Mode enabled? Can you try switching between it? I don't have a Droid X yet myself (I've ordered one, well two actually but one ebay seller flaked out on me) and Motorola does some weird voodoo with it, but I've received other reports that make it sounds like the delayed lock does work, though it might display the stock lock screen too (Which I might be able to get around, I just need to get my hands on a Droid X).

I have a problem with the htc incredible answering calls when i pull it out of my pocket. I got widgetlocker so i could have the left and right slide bar so it wouldn't do that but when i get a call it is still using to original slide down slide bar so when i pull it out of my pocket it either allready answered the call or ignored the call. is there any step by step instructions with widgetlocker to help me fix this problem.

That's a good question.
Same here on the D1. When a call comes in the regular call screen and sliders supersede everything. I'd like to be able to tap on a phone shortcut to answer (or for options) or use WL custom slider.
I've been getting around it by using my Bluetooth headset.

WidgetLocker is just designed to replace the lock screen, not the incoming call screen. The incoming call screen is very different and difficult to replace properly. There are a few apps on the Market that try to do this, but they are a bit limited (myLock Phone Tools and Tedd's Droid Tools). I do plan on investigating replacing the incoming call screen at some point, but it would most likely be a separate app, not part of WidgetLocker.

That said, WidgetLocker does have an option to help with the pocket-answering problem, If you enable Settings > Popups > Hide Incoming Call, then when an incoming call happens instead of having the answer screen you'll still be at the WL Lock screen and you have to dismiss that, then you are at the Incoming Call screen and have to swipe to answer. So it's two steps instead of one.

Thanks kevin, that was the main reason i bought the app in the first place. I will do what you suggested. i would much rather have to use two sliders to answer a call than to either ignore or answer a call before i even get it out of my pocket. but if you could somehow work it out so that it would just be one slider to answer a call that would be great. i am sure there are many people out there that have the same problem. thanks again for your fast reply.

Can someone answer this question for me? I have a Droid X with the latest WL. I have the leaked Froyo on my rooted Droid X too. The problem I'm having is that if I'm in an app, like the Browser, and the screen locks, when I go to unlock it on the WL, I'm not returned to the Browser, but to my phone's home screen. What am I doing wrong?

Install WidgetLocker from the Market or send $2 USD by PayPal to kevin@teslacoilsw.com and install from the APK I will email you.

The bug you are describing only exists in the shady pirate version. I wonder what other "goodies" the pirates included in that one.

This is one of those apps that even if it had a free version I'd get the paid one to support the dev. It just keeps getting better ...except for one itty -bitty thing: Kevin, please include in a future update the ability to back up configuration and settings ...?

I've thought about doing this. One technical difficulty with it is that Android doesn't allow applications to bind widgets themselves, the user must select them. So shortcuts and custom sliders can be backed up and restored, but restoring Widgets won't work. I might just warn users that widgets cannot be restored, and I might see if I can bypass that restricted on rooted phones.
