Why? And should I be concerned?: phone internal at 1.94GB

So yeah, is that a normal amount to have left? if not where and what can I delete?

In a simple word no. They advertise it as having 8GB of EMMC memory, even if you formatted it add the OS you should have more than 2.38GB of space left over.

Some speculate different reasons as to where the memory went and HTC frankly won't tell you anything and Verizon won't either. Its false advertising, they failed to put a little * then notate elsewhere how much actual space you get.

You can store your apps on the microSD card but in the end that has little to do with it, if you say a car has a full size spare you cannot put the tiny spare in there.
