No jalapenos. Fresh roasted Hatch green chili for me.
No, those are just stock photos. If I would have taken it with my Force, the burgers would have had a few bites out of them already. Patience is NOT one of my best qualities when food is concerned.
Wow, I'm starting to get hangry with all this talk. I think I may need to hit up Five Guys for lunch today.
The image would have been clearer as well
I'm thinking that's where I'll stop on my way home tonight. Thanks for the idea, I had no idea what we were doing for dinner

I just placed an order for the 64GB Force Edition in White on Fine Gold with the Incipio Off Pack non wireless model with the JBL speaker pack, both in white. Couldn't get the order to go off for Moto Credit (which I qualified...no interest if paid within 18-24 months!). Used my TD Visa card, as I get 2℅ back. ETA delivery 8/26.

Does Verizon allow you to put these phones on the plan as an insurable phone they'll cover, or is that something only Moto will handle seeing it was bought through them.

I'm guessing that if the phone was bought through Moto, then only Moto will cover it. I bought mine at a Verizon store, and i've got their insurance. Sorry that i couldn't give you more help.:p

I doubt the Droid Z is different, this is how the warranty works on the Turbo 2. Within the first 12 months you are covered under the standard phone warranty. If you bought it at Verizon, you get warranty support at Verizon. If you bought it on Moto Maker you get warranty support through Moto. The Assurion insurance (or whatever it's called these days) is an additional warranty above & beyond the standard warranty and those claims start at Verizon and then work however the third party company does things.

One other thing to consider...the monthly insurance payments to Verizon for Assurion (or whatever it's called) add up quick. For the Turbo and Turbo 2 Moto offered a one time fee of $19.99 for an additional 12 months of warranty support...way cheaper than the monthly payments. It's worth looking into, on their website, if you plan on keeping the phone longer than 12 months.

One thing to remember though...warranty is different than insurance. Warranty coverage is for a defect in the phone, ie. screen goes bad, speaker dies, etc.
Insurance is coverage for multiple problems that are not hardware/software related. Dropped and broken phone, phone went for a swim, stolen phone, etc. They don't overlap much. If you decline insurance and then break the phone, you get to pay for it. Warranty will cover a defective product, not something that gets damaged.

Very true, you make a good point. Here is why I dropped insurance through Verizon though. Paid for it for years...tons of money. Daughter drops her Moto X 2014 and breaks the screen. Endless hassles with Assurion and they finally after to replace the phone for a $100 deductible. Where was all that money I paid them for 10 years? Gone. And...the phone will be a stock black or white, all custom Moto Maker options gone. I call Motorola. For $125 they replace the screen, and if I want (my choice) they will send me a replacement first...with ALL the same Moto Maker options as the original for an extra $25. With a prepaid return envelope for the broken phone. They do put a hold on a credit card ... in case you don't return the broken phone. Totally understandable. New phone was on my doorstep within 72 hours and I cancelled insurance the next day. I have never looked back. Everyone's situation is different and everyone has to make decisions that are best for them. I'm just offering information that new (newer) Moto owners may not be aware of.

Excellent advice! In my experience, Asurion sucks. I have a different insurance for my phone. Like you said though, repairs through Moto are a pretty good way to go and may allow many folks to avoid insurance completely. I just love flushing money down the toilet, that's why I keep my insurance up to date. I haven't had a claim on my auto insurance for 20+ years, but I keep paying because the insurance companies are such nice caring entities that I'd really hate to cut off their source of funding.
