I did remember that I still have my friends Fossil Watch. I'm charging it up now. So not my favorite watch but I've got a backup until I find mine.

Maybe it's on a shelf --- or under books on the table.
I force myself to keep it on. When I take it off, it MUST go on the charger or I'd be looking for mine too.
