So what now? I'm having trouble thinking of fun/useful ways to enjoy it. So how are YOU guys going to use flash now that its on your phone. (Intended for rooted people running the new 2.2 rom)
I downloaded the flash.apk adobe file earlier this morning like 1 hr after the 2.2 rom was released and for me so far the rom is working great especially with the 1ghz kernel and wifi working now. The only thing I notice is that FLASH like for example if you go on youtube.com or even sportstv.tk where you can watch live sports it seems laggy like the FPS are very low.
Anyone else experiencing this issue or is there another version of adobe flash i can install?
For those trying to get to Hulu, you need to type "about:debug" in your browser and hit Go. Then go to settings and change the UAString option to "Desktop".
Yeah my CyanogenMod setup had a lot more features but I'm loving the flash and honestly normal actions seem to be faster than any rom i've tried. I can't wait for Cyanogen to get a hold of the 2.2 code mmm.
So hulu.com/widget/player works fine. Youtube works ok. Any higher res video is very very choppy. A lot of flash content just seems pretty slow. Amazingly C-Span.org TV channels work VERY well for some reason. My girlfriend is bummed out because yo-ville does not seem to work yet.
Oh well, 2.2 is still fast and a lot of flash does work.
At first when I loaded the 2.2 it seemed a little sluggish like you mentioned. However after I installed the new kernel the thing is faster then ever. There are new features that I really like in 2.2 and having Flash is great.
For the first 10 minutes into 2.2 I was thinking of going back, but I am glad I stuck with it and now it is awesome! A strange thing that Kellex mentioned is that it seems to get faster the longer you run it.... so far I am feeling the same way.
