Was Rooted, ICS updated, how do I get root back ?

Hello all.

As the title states I rooted my phone about 2 months ago. Everything was running great. Got to freeze un-needed apps, etc, etc. As a side note, was pleasently surprised about how easy and quick it was, thanks skylarmb.

A couple days ago, my phone updated to ICS. I still have a superuser icon in my applications. But the apps that require root access no longer work. Big surprise :disappointed:

Do I have to un-root and then re-root? Do I need to roll back to gingerbread, un-root, update to ICS, and then re-root? Can I just run the new root utility for ICS?

From the searching I've done, I haven't found anyone else in this situation.

Thanks all!

Razrs_edge will root your phone on ICS.

You can't go back to Gingerbread now that your phone updated to ICS, it's not possible.

Superuser in the app drawer is just a control app for root....so just re-root and you are good to go.

Hi I caught my update and temporary unrooted using Voodoo root. Do I reapply the root when the 4.0 update finishes or do I unroot (while Voodoo root is still active?) and reroot using the ICS root only?
