Based upon this new update for the Verizon version of the HTC One, it would appear the device has been experiencing some lock-ups for some users. Just yesterday, HTC announced a new update for the Verizon HTC One, and amongst some other enhancements and fixes, it aims to resolve lock-up issues. The update is version 1.10.605.10, and clocks in at over 33MB. Here's a quick summary of most of the fixes:
  • Reduce lock-ups
  • Smoother running
  • Less Glitches
  • Updates Verizon’s Isis Mobile Wallet
  • Adds internet accessibility for the visually impaired
There are two things unusual about this update. One, the fact that they are bringing it out so close to when Android 4.3 for the device should be coming. Two, this is the first time we have heard anything about lock-ups on the device. Sound off if you have experienced anything this update addresses.
