Verizon DROID line Price Reduction

Looks like this morning Verizon lowered the prices on the current Motorola DROID Line up. For example the MAXX is down to $199 from $299 on contract. I got my MAXX last week at a retail store, and called VZW customer service this morning and they credited my account the difference.

Verizon likes the money. If they can screw over the people who keep them in business, they'll do the same to the people who help run it, only 10 times worse.

I'm so upset about it because they don't screw me when it comes to my plan or the discount I get for buying a phone, or forgiving the activation/upgrade fee. I really don't want to return my phone just to reorder another so I can save the $100,which really ends up being $65 when you factor in the restocking fee. *mad face*

I talked to my Verizon Rep today and he told me to email him about it. Here's hoping he can do something
