unable to select wav files as message notifications

I uploaded a few wave files so I could use them as text/messaging notifications but they aren't listed in the notification sections.

How do I get them to show up?

They need to be placed in system/media/audio/notifications. This can be done with a file explorer.

Also, depending on the size of the wave and amount of free space, you may have to delete un used notifications. I've deleted all of mine down to just 1 notification, 1 ringtone and alarm.
