How in the HECK do I get rid of the tranquility splash screen and get back the default M? I unrooted my phone but it's still there ugh. Help

midway down I have a M logo I made. You will need to be able to get into clockwork recovery, there fore you will need to re - root.

You need clockwork recovery as no one has released a method to SBF the logo like they did in DROID 1

Yes, you will need root to change the boot logo back to the original /\/\.

And changing it back is as easy as a zip when in Clockwork.

Edit: Just noticed your on the Droid not the X. So my suggestion may not be correct. Except for you having to be rooted.

I don't think you need to re-root. I just used the 2.2 SBF file and got my M logo back. I had the same problem...
