returning to stock HELP

hey,

So one of my coworkers got an X because she saw mine....she got hers and of course started complaining about battery life and wanting to make it look "cool" blahh blahh blahh

I offered to load a ROM onto it to help the battery life and get rid of the bloat (as she wanted)

after all that she tells me she wants it back to stock....

sooo how can I get rid of the tranquility ROM and go back to semi stock (device will still be rooted)...I had created a back up before flashing but it looks like that didnt save?

or if you know how to transfer contacts from a BB 8330 that would work as well

Look for the "back to stock" option.

Make a backup before you attempt this, obviously, and hope it takes. And never root another person's phone for them, this is what happens.

so i downloaded the update.zip but its still loading the tranqulity ROM?

so it halfway took, it loaded for quite awhile at the tranquility boot screen but once loaded it had that "Stock" look and all of her contacts where back (that was the biggest deal) so im free and everything is good

Glad to hear it's working. The contacts should have been backed up with Google and restored as soon as the phone booted back up after the wipe.

is there a possible way to revert back to the stock ROM and get rid of tranquility?

lol thanks, i found the thread for the 2.2 SBF and i think im just gonna flash it back to bone stock

Just make sure you're using the right SBF. There are a couple of them kicking around that will brick the phone.
