I've run into an odd problem. Every so often when I try to use the texting app the touchscreen goes dead. That is, the buttons still work, as does sweeping down the notification bar. So the touchscreen itself is working but it's as if the texting app won't let the main portion be used. Almost as if some sort of modal dialog had taken focus (but none is visible). No amount of keyboard actions, leaving the texting app or starting any others will bring it back to life. The only way to get things working right is to pull the battery and reboot. I cannot reliably reproduce the error. It doesn't happen every time. It seems more likely to happen if I've had the phone in the car dock, opened the hardware keyboard and then pulled the phone from the dock (with the keyboard still opened) Anyone else seem something like this?
