My Rezound has been pretty solid since I've had it (Got it last year) but yesterday, if I hold the phone vertically, the lower portion of the touchscreen rarely will respond when I touch it. Which is a complete PITA when trying to text or make a call. If I tilt it horizontally that same area will rarely work, even if I keep tapping it. *sigh

Anyone else have an issue like this? It's really annoying.

Never had it happen on a Rezound, but my old OG Droid had a similar problem. Sometimes the sensor can separate from behind the screen -- since it's mostly non-responsive in both portrait and landscape, it's probably this.

Verizon will warranty replace it for you if you show them, easy enough.

Took it in to my local VZW store and they had a Certified Pre Owned sent to me the next day.

they said they hadn't been aware of this issue being common as well.

Oh well, all's well that ends well. =)
