took OTA when i had rooted gingerbread now lost root

hey i had the 1st leaked version of gingerbread for da droid x but my wife saw the OTA update and updated the phone now she lost root how can i get it back z4root doesnt work and i was reading on da droid 3 rooting method says it only works on never before rooted droid x with gingerbread please any help is appreciated

You have to figure a way to get rid of the super user off your phone... When you figure that out... Let me know please

Just sbf to .602, update to .605 if you want, then use the easy root method. Sbfing will remove any trace of SU.
