Question about .595 Gingerbread and .596 update.

I have the Leaked version of Gingerbread (.595) on my droid X. When I flashed the .595 Gigerbread the root stayed on my phone, and I believe is now stuck on there. I tried to unroot using the z4root app and it will not work. I was wondering if you still get the OTA update of .596 if you are on the rooted deodexed version of .595. I am wondering because I want to install the .596 update. I also have Zombiestomped 1.7 on my phone.

Could I install .596 if I flashed the stock version of .595?

You have to sbf back to 2.3.340 to get the OTA

Is there exact directions anywhere on how to do it? I do not want to use the bootable cd option
