Theming Guide for Progress Bar

ok i posted it as an apk which i cant do. I changed the extension to .zip. Once you d/l it, change it back to a .apk file.

no prob.. i'm with you. I like to see the xml file. I can do the hex thing but.. just so much easier to deal with xml files.

now if i add an edited xml threw 7zip will it work? cuz styles is edited too

yep.. the values folder is only visible in a decompile. id leave 7zip out of this. just go into drawable and go to progress_horizontl and edit it with noepad, notepad++ or whatever you use. save it. WHen recompiling (if you are using apk manager 4.9) go into the keep folder and delete resources.arsc and any xml you edited and then let it finish. don't sign it. just change the unsignedframework-res.apk name to framework-res.apk

i delete the styles xml cuz i edited it. and the resources.arsc

lol... the only way you could have deleted styles is if you did it before you started the recompile. dont delete that. when you delete, resources.arsc, you are essentially deleting the values folder. Only delete things in the keep folder. never from anywhere else. So basically, you can delete resources.arsc, and then any xml you edited in the drawables folder and the layout folder. possibly the xml folder.

You have to delete the resources.arsc file even if you didn't edit anything in the values or styles XMLs, but did edit at least one XML from anywhere....

but as xkape stated, you did already do it right davros.... so I see a successful flash...

its late here too. Mbk is laughing at all of us in Hawaii. Punk 12:30am and negative 15 degress here.

I'll mess with it if I have time tomorrow. We are going to Orlando so tomorrow is our Christmas. I'll get that progress bar colored if its the only thing I do.
