Theme chooser vs Flashing

I have noticed that the theme chooser doesnt color all the logos whereas a flashed theme does. Is it just me or are others seeing the same?

It's a known limitation of the theme chooser. The advantage is, you can switch all day without rebooting ;-)

the only limitations of the theme chooser apk is the power menu and lock screen everything else can be themed but has to be coded in in one of my themes i have been working on for my ROM the market and keyboard are themed

I stand corrected. Thanks for the info c2p.

Actually to add to what cush2tush said, you need to reboot hard after applying a theme. Quite a number need the reboot to complete all the theme. No reboot and you miss out on half the theme on many.
Also on xda there is a nice fellow that is creating signed zips to theme the lockscreens and some other additions.
He is using zip themer free from the market to compile out so goofs like me don't metamorph my phone out of existence.
He had quite a lot now plus some boot animations to match particular themes. I think this is the correct link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1013757 let me know if it ain't, so I can find the correct one.

this is correct, and if you're running launcherpro you can just restart launcherpro without rebooting for the entire theme to take effect.

I was unaware about that, are you positive? Since I know some install ringtone and other tweaks like animations.
That is why I was under the impression of need to reboot.
Plus every themes developers thread on xda tells you to reboot.
Not arguing, since obviously this lazy mo fo would love to just hard press the back key to restart LP.

Also am I remembering correctly that we used to be able to change colors for text in notification drop down, in last UD version?
Some themes make the drop down hard to read.
Thanks for anyone with a better memory regarding this tweak. And if you know how I could change the text color regardless, that would be some sweet sweet sauce.

Running linear theme and need to adjust text color to red or white.
Otherwise I will just have to suffer....single tear falling frowny face

yep i'm pretty sure, at least in my case its worked. i dont know how it works if you dont use launcher pro, but it does work for me. and yes, ringtones are changed as well, but i dont know if that's because of the restart of launcher pro or not.

just tested it now, and it worked again. switched to system theme an then back to ikandee, and after restarting launcher pro all the icons etc are themed.

Thanks cz
Party time
Excellent
