UD 3.0 Theme Chooser

Does anyone know if something special has to be done for transparency in the pulldown shade? I've seen images in both the framework and the systemui apk's and also a reference in an .xml to shade bgcolor, but haven't dug in enough to know for sure which are which yet. Any info would be appreciated.

It's been Xeudoxus from Team Dark Edge that has done the Transparency Patch on the pulldown notification panel for Eclair and Froyo - chances are he will be the one to do it for Gingerbread -

framework and systemui makes the base for the theme.
take a look at the urban for ud 3.0 beta. i think is pretty much complete.

did you install as in update.zip? i tried it that way and my icons on top did not change (battery,notifications). the only things that did change are some of the apps like phone, gmail, messaging, stuff like that.

i installed as a update.zip, but you need to make sure you have alot of free space in the system partition for everything to theme properly.
